WHANGAREI GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY

This project was driven by a brief that required the new school library to provide a “modern, spacious and multiuse facility” forming a new focal point for the school. The form of the new library created two main spaces off the radial connection point while maintaining clear sight lines from the central workroom “command centre”. The new library has become a key element to the school, its two wings radiate from the curved central node.
