The new interior fit out of an existing two story commercial building in central Whangarei Business District to meet the needs of a diverse range of students and staff required a detailed space analysis to ensure the necessary requirements were meet.

 

Issues we needed to resolve included the limited floor area vs growth of the school, team numbers, work group relationships and work space standards in order to design a functioning school environment and workspace.

 

The result being a new educational and multifunctional environment to satisfy specific needs, eg science, art, quite spaces, public areas and storage facilities while enhancing key operational work flows and inter-work relationships.
